Opportunity: Become a Junior Mentor with TiE Boston’s TYE Program

January 7 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
tie young

Framingham students (undergraduate and graduate) are invited to apply for the Junior Mentor role in TiE Boston’s prestigious TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Program, an extra-curricular entrepreneurship program that teaches high school students how to create a successful start-up. They’ve been in operation for 20+ years and their model has now been replicated in 32 cities worldwide.

As a Junior Mentor, you will support a team of high school entrepreneurs as they develop a startup idea and prepare for the final pitch competition in May. Each team is guided by both a Senior Mentor (a founder or executive) and a Junior Mentor, giving college students the unique opportunity to both teach and learn. This role strengthens leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world mentorship experience.

Commitment:

  • Attend six in-person sessions at the Cambridge Innovation Center (Kendall Square)
  • Sessions run alternating Saturdays, January–April, from 1:30–2:30 PM
  • Occasional virtual attendance may be permitted if necessary

Who Should Apply:
Students interested in entrepreneurship, leadership development, and mentoring. Startup experience is preferred but not required.
