IDEA Con
Event Invitation – Off Campus Activity
Four student founders open IDEA Con on October 24
Innovate@BU hosts IDEA Con, Boston University’s cross-college conference for student founders and curious students, on Saturday, October 24, 10 am to 4:30 pm, at the George Sherman Union. The morning opens with four short IGNITE talks: Aria Ma of Tufts University, founder of Jadewell, which delivers affordable Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal care through licensed herbalists; Grace Lightfoot of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, CEO of The Kidney Connective, which is building the first nationwide kidney transplant eligibility database; Jakob Esterowitz (ENG’27), co-founder and CEO of LET, which turns used tennis string into virgin-quality material for apparel; and Shaun Devan of the University of New Hampshire, co-founder of Agent Integrator, an AI venture studio.
After the talks, registrants choose two workshops, and the afternoon ends with the Entrepreneur Bazaar and a reception. IDEA Con is free and open to students and recent grads from any school, and our students are welcome.
Sponsored by the Cynthia Cohen Impact 2040 Fund.
